I always say it like it is, even if it's against me. And generally speaking, I have to admit that makes you the smarter person here

. Having said that, for people like me, looking for a more luxurious SUV, the Calligraphy is the smart purchase as well, since it's significantly cheaper than any other luxury SUV, and in many cases, it's actually better

.
Indeed. And typically, the higher trims are the slowest sellers, for almost obvious reasons... but nothing is obvious anymore. Ha ha. The 'problem' with the Calligraphy (and the Limited to some degree as well), as I briefly mentioned above, is Hyundai made an SUV that competes at a much higher level than their intended market, so you basically have people who thought would have to spend 20+ grand more for a luxurious SUV, can pay just 50 grand, and have like 95% of the luxury, and in most cases, with even more interior space, so that made it an instant winner. And now that the word has spread, dealers can't keep them for even a day after they arrive. So yes, I assume they'll make more next year, and will raise the price as well. At least hope they throw power folding mirrors, like the Telluride, and maybe power steering column too. That'd make it even better. And what would make it the best luxury SUV in the market would be a turbo V6 engine, but I suspect with Genesis around, Hyundai would never do that. However, they could introduce an AWD version with the extra luxuries of the GV80 as a Genesis. The GV80 feels like a Tucson, compared to the Palisade. Interesting times
