Dear Palisade enthusiasts,

I just got my 2021 Caligraphy - Graphite with Grey Interiors in Canada on Dec 31’20. I am a new entrant to the group....so far loving reading each and every comment like a kid with a new toy.....wanted to ask if someone could guide me to the correct web link / source for the LED Door sill - I don’t want to go the wiring route as i am not very technically sound in installing etc...i did come across some of these - link shared below - which just need to be charged once in 2-3 months and is non -invasive. But I wasn’t sure if anyone has ordered something like this from within USA / CANADA. Any help would be appreciated. I did notice the Brenthon one - however that also seems customized and wiring would need to go through mats , etc that i am really bad at.....Regards.

I have not ever used these sills, but I used to have a BMW and had similar(ish) sills. They were an actual BMW part and I believe ran off watch type batteries. They were a direct replacement for the stock sills and also had either a magnet or piece of metal with double sided tape (I don’t remember which type) that you attached on the bottom of the door. When the door would open or close the light on the sills would turn on or off. They worked very well and never had an issue with them. If you didn’t know any better you would just assume it was wired. If you decide to try these post your results.

Thanks for the prompt response. Yes i might have seen on a few BMW’s....i admit they looked flushed -maybe two known friends had it...besides....will definitely share if i manage to lay my hands on it..certainly excited to try and find Em....

At the dealership before leaving I installed my padded armrest

Car2play adapter (had it with me for drive home but installed it in a hidden location Sunday

Dealer oil change and tire rotate....even with appointment..took 2 hours!
Hyundai may want to get the dealerships up to speed in many ways..
They cannot compare to others that I have been to.

I play CD's over the radio in my Palisade, BUT there is a reason I can do it, and can be a pain to change cd's
I had installed a second row entertainment system in the second row for our great grand daughter. It is an
android tablet and has the FM transmission to our FM radio on an unused channel.
Many will tell you, you can use a player for the cd's on an android device. That is no longer true.
Several companies now sell players that will work if you down load "True DVD+ and Disc Link Platinum
apps to the android tablet
I purchased a DVD, CD player for android and connected it to the tablet, player connects by usb cable to
tablet. It is a 13.3" tablet that lets the great grand daughter watch DVD movies. You can keep the player
where ever you want by using different length USB cables
Can't listen to CD while she is playing DVD's or games.
I only installed one tablet, made just for cars with all mounting hardware included.

they are abs that is hydro dipped not real CF. But I like the look better than the brushed silver and wood grain looking black trim.

It is a 13.3" android tablet, all the mounting adapters and cables came with it.
Then I got the android DVD player to go with it.

Mounted to head rest and it is good and solid. Ran power cord down the gap between seat and kick panel on back
of the seat. The tablet comes with direct wire power cord, 12V cigarette adapter , and a power cord for 115V
I used the 115V plug down the side of seat to the outlet on back of console. Used a 12" 90 degree angle extension cord
coming from the outlet. That way the power adapter is out of site and doesn't stick out
You can put the DVD player where you want. In the pocket on back of seat the usb powered cord will show.
If you use a longer cord you can put the DVD player in the console or where ever you want. again run the usb cord down the
same slot as tablet power and you will not even see the cord. No separate power cord is needed for the player as
it uses power from the usb port.
You can broad cast the sound to the FM radio, play right on the speakers built in. or use head phones. Can pair with any hotspot,
including using your phone as the hotspot. Go on the web, play Netflix movies, connect your switch game
You can also purchase different monitors with DVD player built in. But they are limited in what you can do online.
You can purchase a pair and play one DVD on one or on both at the same time, it comes with an HDMI port also.
Cable to join the two together come with the Tablets
